UBS Art Collection The assembling of the art collection for the new UBS Tower in Chicago presented a challenge to combine and expand several distinctly different art collections including architectural artifacts and artwork with contemporary works in a remarkable new facility.
Working with the art committee, we were committed to integrate rather than separate the existing collections and to install with new acquisitions in a way that created an aesthetic dialog between the 19th and the 20th century, between the decorative and the fine arts, and between the old and the new.
The resulting 800 piece collection displayed throughout the 15 office
floors emphasized the company’s commitment to quality, tradition
and innovation and provided a great focal point for both the public contact
areas as well as staff areas.
